Guest House
From cocoa house to guest house - La Haut's scenic serenity and
tropical tranquility abounds...
Our pleasant, family run guesthouse is situated on a lush mountain 770 feet above sea level on the west coast of St. Lucia overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the Pitons and the Soufriere rain forest.
Part of a 52- acre former coconut and cocoa estate, the Guest House possesses a unique history.
History of La Haut
Nearly 100 years old, the Main Guest House was originally a cocoa
house used for fermenting and drying cocoa beans picked on the estate.
In 1995, the building was converted and refurbished
into a 6-room guesthouse. The self-contained cottage is a refurbished copra house where coconuts are processed. |
